The film "Red Rain" is an excellent film about the revolutionary war, produced by the People's Army Cinema, directed by Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Chu Lai. The film has profound human values, recreating the indomitable will and heroic sacrifice of the "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in 81 days and nights of steadfast fighting to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972 through the lens of modern cinema, rich in emotions and profound in thought.
The film, released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2, not only created a great artistic resonance but also set a record for the highest box office revenue in the history of Vietnamese cinema.
On the evening of Saturday, November 29, during the Kim Dong walking street activities, the movie "Red Rain" will be shown for free on the Led screen at the Water Wheel yard via the TV360 application to serve the people and tourists. On November 30, it will continue to be shown for free at the People's Committee of Thuc Phan ward.
