Attending the Running Day were leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Bac Kan City; members of the Organizing Committee along with more than 600 athletes and more than 2,400 officers, soldiers of the armed forces, civil servants, workers, union members, students, and the masses in Bac Kan City.

In his opening speech, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized that in recent years, the province's sports movement has been increasingly developed and gradually strengthened. The campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" has developed widely among the people, with the rate of people exercising regularly and the number of sports families increasing year by year. High-performance sports have also recorded significant progress, with more and more medals in national tournaments.

In particular, the first prize in the 10 km men's category went to the Provincial Police; the first prize in the 10 km women's category went to Bac Kan city; the first prize in the 5 km men's category went to Bac Kan Alpha Runners Club; and the first prize in the 3 km women's category went to Bac Kan city./.
