National Unity Day of Mat village

On November 11, Mat village, Chieng Mung commune organized the National Great Unity Day 2025. This is a festival organized by Chieng Mung commune on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025). Attending the festival were leaders of Chieng Mung commune, along with 42 Front Working Committees of villages and hamlets in the commune.

At the Festival, delegates and people of Mat together reviewed the history and tradition of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025); the results of the implementation of the task of building the great national unity bloc and the patriotic emulation movements of the village in 2025.

Ban Mat has 206 households, 875 people, with 2 ethnic groups Kinh and Thai living. The Party Committee, Management Board and Front Committee of the village have led, directed, propagated and mobilized people to participate in socio-economic development, patriotic emulation movements, building the Party, government, political system, and consolidating the great solidarity bloc in the locality. Up to now, the average income per capita in the village has reached 45 million VND/person/year; over 19% of households are well-off and rich; the village still has 5 poor households. In 2025, the village will propagate and mobilize people to support the establishment of funds such as: "Repaying gratitude"; "For the poor", supporting natural disasters and other funds of over 22 million VND.

Speaking at the Festival, the leaders of Chieng Mung commune requested the Party cell committee, the Front Working Committee and the people of Mat village to continue to consolidate and strengthen the great national unity bloc, well implement the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, promote the people's mastery. Promote economic development, transform the structure of crops and livestock, exploit land and labor potential to increase income, and sustainably reduce poverty. Preserve and promote national cultural identity, build cultural life in residential areas; actively participate in community cultural and sports movements; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building Chieng Mung commune to meet advanced new rural standards in the period of 2025 - 2030.
