On November 28, at the District Cultural House, the People's Committee of Cao Phong district organized the Cao Phong District Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival 2024.

Cao Phong District Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival aims to continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, dated June 9, 2014 of the 9th Central Conference, 11th tenure on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development"; Decision No. 1719/QD-TTg, dated October 14, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period, Phase I from 2021-2025; implementing the Project on developing physical training and sports in Hoa Binh province for the 2016-2020 period, with a vision to 2030. Continuing to implement the Project "Preserving and promoting typical intangible cultural values of ethnic groups in Hoa Binh province, for the 2021-2025 period"; Strengthen and raise awareness of the position and role of authorities at all levels and communities in preserving, conserving and effectively promoting Muong gong culture, folk songs, folk dances, costumes, ethnic sports...
A large number of people came to cheer for the national sports competitions at the festival.
Within the framework of the festival, the Organizing Committee organized many diverse activities such as: Muong gong performance competition, folk singing, folk dancing; traditional sports competitions (crossbow shooting, tug of war, stick pushing). Especially, the Muong ethnic costume performance competition and special performances.
Through the 2024 Cao Phong District Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival, the aim is to promote the cultural, artistic and sports movement in the district, contributing to preserving and promoting cultural values imbued with national identity; creating conditions to further promote the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"...
