During the April 30-May 1 holiday, the number of visitors through Huu Nghi International Border Gate increased dramatically.

During the holiday, Lang Son province still maintains customs clearance for import and export of goods at 4 border gates including Huu Nghi international border gate, Chi Ma bilateral border gate, Dong Dang international railway station border gate and Tan Thanh sub-border gate.

According to statistics from the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board, from April 28 to April 30, on average, about 1,000 vehicles had their import-export procedures processed by border gate authorities each day. Among them, many vehicles carried agricultural products for export because domestic fruits were in the harvest season and there were still many empty vehicles at the border gate, which posed a risk of congestion.

To ensure stable trade activities, the Border Control Station of Huu Nghi International Border Gate has deployed forces at key locations, increased the maximum number of troops, and is on duty to regulate traffic flow from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day. At all locations in the border gate area, vehicles have been arranged, regulated, and deployed for the most efficiency.

Regarding the Dong Dang Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board, during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, the unit still arranged officers, civil servants, and leaders to be on duty to handle work related to import-export activities in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee; established inspection teams to directly inspect at border gates, thereby resolving difficulties and problems in import-export activities.

With the smooth coordination of functional units, the entire border gate management system in the area is still maintained and fully meets normal requirements. All forces have plans to assign duties, arrange forces, and create maximum conditions for border trade activities to take place smoothly and stably.
