In addition, medical personnel from various units directly visited disadvantaged Khmer households to provide medical examinations, health consultations, and free medication, paying particular attention to the elderly, women, and children.
Many gifts, including rice, essential goods, and cash, were handed directly to policy beneficiaries, poor households, and those in particularly difficult circumstances. Although not of great value, each gift contained the affection and responsibility of border guards towards the people in the front lines of the Fatherland.
Military medical officers from the Dat Mui Border Guard Post visited the homes of disadvantaged Khmer families in Mui Hamlet, Dat Mui Commune, to provide free medical examinations and medication.
Activities such as visiting, providing medical check-ups, and giving gifts not only have humanitarian significance but also contribute to raising people's awareness of protecting sovereignty and border security. Through these efforts, people's compliance with the law is increasingly enhanced, contributing to maintaining stability in the border region.
Colonel Nguyen Quang Ha, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, stated.
Representatives from the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Cai Cung Border Guard Station visited and presented gifts to Serey Vongsa Kos Thmay Pagoda (Vinh Hau commune) to wish it a happy New Year.
The practical actions of the Ca Mau Border Guard during the Chol Chnam Thmay New Year of the Khmer people further enhance the beautiful image of border guards and strengthen the bond between the military and the people in the front lines of the Fatherland.
In the coming time, the Ca Mau Provincial Border Guard will continue to maintain and expand social welfare models, care for the lives of ethnic minorities, contribute to socio-economic development, sustainable poverty reduction, and build an increasingly stable and strong border region.
