The first public school in Hanoi to deploy the “Google Digital Classroom” model

In order to contribute to improving the quality of education, promoting students' qualities and abilities, and aiming to become global digital citizens, from the 2025-2026 school year, Giang Vo Secondary School (Giang Vo Ward, Hanoi) will deploy the "Google Digital Classroom" model.

On July 4, Giang Vo Secondary School held a meeting to deploy the "Google Digital Classroom" model towards building a "Google Digital School".

According to the organizers, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school will implement the "Google Digital Classroom" model with the following classes: 6A1 (Key Class for Literature); 6A6 (Key Class for Math); 6A9 (Key Class for English).

From the 2026-2027 school year, based on the actual situation, in the following school years, Giang Vo Secondary School plans to replicate this model on a school-wide scale.

Digital classrooms are implemented with activeeducational methods, based on technology platforms, focusing on students to contribute to the formation and development of students' qualities and abilities; ensuring students access to information and safe digital content on all devices used in schools.

According to Teacher To Thi Hai Yen, Principal of Giang Vo Secondary School, up to now, 100% of teachers teaching "Google Digital Classroom" have Google Certified Educator Level 1 Certificate; proficiently use the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem; apply AI well in management, teaching, testing, and evaluation of educational activities, in line with the innovation orientation of the 2018 general education program.

Each student participating in the class is provided with a separate laptop or tablet, Google Chromebook is encouraged, ensuring strict management of content through the operation and supervision of the teacher.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Co Nhu Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward, highly appreciated the model that the school is preparing to implement. According to Comrade Co Nhu Dung, Giang Vo Secondary School is the first public school in Hanoi to pioneer this new model.

Therefore, during the implementation process, the school needs to coordinate well with units, review and improve facilities and teaching equipment so that the implementation takes place smoothly and effectively...
