This is a rare disease, accounting for only 5-10% of epithelial cancers of the entire urinary tract (renal calyces, renal pelvis, ureter, bladder and urethra), with a frequency of about 1-2 cases/100,000 people. The disease is common in the age group of 50-70 years old, men are more affected than women. The cause of the disease is not really clear, but many risk factors mentioned are due to the living environment such as tobacco addiction, industrial dyes or hereditary tumor syndromes.
Patients with urinary tract cancer have vague, non-specific symptoms that appear abnormally, so they are detected and diagnosed late. The malignant nature of the tumor is shown in the following points: easy to spread around, easy to develop in the entire urinary tract and easy to relapse. Currently, there have been many advances in the world that contribute to early diagnosis and disease stage.
