From soldier to inspiration
After finishing high school, Do Xuan Huy went to do military service. His time in the army trained him to be determined, disciplined and persistent. When he finished his service, he returned home and started his life with all kinds of jobs: serving in restaurants, driving, doing services... During those years of wandering, Huy witnessed many difficult situations, from lonely old people, orphans to poor sick people with no place to rely on.
Since then, he has cherished the desire to do something practical to help the less fortunate. Previously, his activities were small and personal. But then he realized: to go far, to spread the spirit of sharing in the long term, he needed a collective with a clear organization and plan. Therefore, in early 2024, he officially established the Tuy Tam Charity group. Initially, the group consisted of only a few close friends with the same aspirations, but after more than a year of operation, the number of members has reached 50 people - people who are willing to join hands and contribute to the community.

Bringing moonlight to poor children
One of the meaningful activities that Huy's group carries out is organizing a Mid-Autumn Festival for poor children in remote areas. He believes that every small gift and every fun activity on the full moon night can help children preserve beautiful childhood memories, giving them more faith and optimism in life. The lanterns, moon cakes, snacks, and laughter of children under the full moon make all fatigue disappear.

Winter heating in the highlands
Every winter for the past 5 years, he and his friends have planned to bring warm blankets, warm clothes, socks, shoes, and cakes to schools in mountainous areas such as Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, etc. Those gifts may not be big, but in the bitter cold of the highlands, they are the warmth of humanity, the loving hand extending from the lowlands to the highlands.
Mr. Huy shared that one time, when he gave a warm blanket and candy to an ethnic child in Ta Xi Lang, Tram Tau, Yen Bai, the child kept looking at it and then timidly asked: "Is this really my gift?". Just that one question moved everyone in the group to tears. It was moments like that that gave Mr. Huy and the young people more motivation to continue their journey of spreading love.

Relief for people after typhoon Yangi
One of the major milestones in Huy's volunteer activities was the emergency relief trips during the Yangi storm. When many areas in Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Chuong My, My Duc - Hanoi were cut off due to rising floodwaters, the Tuy Tam Volunteer Group, regardless of the danger, organized the transportation of relief goods across steep and slippery mountain passes, even using boats and rafts to deliver supplies to people isolated by floodwaters.
After the storm, the group continued to support the cleaning of mud for households in deeply flooded areas such as Ha Hoa - Phu Tho, helping people quickly stabilize their lives. The young hands were not afraid of getting dirty, the shovels and brooms were soaked in mud but full of determination and sharing spirit.

Charity meals at Tan Trieu K Hospital
Not only focusing on children in disadvantaged areas, Huy's group also regularly organizes charity meals for cancer patients and their families at Tan Trieu K Hospital every week. With a cost of about 20,000 - 30,000 VND/meal, the group carefully prepares each portion of nutritious, hot and clean rice.
For many patients, especially those from far away provinces who come to Hanoi for treatment, each free meal is like a relief from their worries. Mr. Huy shared: "We not only want to give them a meal, but also want them to know that they are not alone in the fight against the disease."
He believes that in the journey to overcome illness, in addition to medicine and doctors, spirit and companionship are equally important. He wants himself and his team to become a part of that companionship, no matter how small.

Spread love with youth
The Tuy Tam Charity Group currently has more than 50 regular members, most of whom are young people, students, and working people. What makes Huy happiest is not the amount of money raised or the number of programs organized, but the spread of the volunteer spirit. There are young people who initially came to the group just to "do something for fun", but after a few trips, they have become long-term members, even calling on their friends to join.
Mr. Huy often shares: "We don't need anyone to have money, we just need you to have a heart. Contribute your efforts, your voice, or a weekend, that's enough." It is this simplicity and sincerity that has created a special attraction that makes every call for support enthusiastically responded to. Some people contribute vegetables, contribute rice, some bring their vehicles to deliver goods, some people can't go but send sincere wishes - all have created a community united by love.

Comedy - laughter sows joy
In addition to business and charity work, Do Xuan Huy also spends time participating in short comedy films on social media platforms. His and his co-stars' witty and rustic comedy sketches attract tens of thousands of views.
His income from acting is not much, but he still perseveres because he believes that every laugh that the audience gives to his films is the greatest joy. He believes that laughter is also a medicine to heal the fatigue and pressure in life. Making others happy is also a way to make yourself happier.

A never ending journey
After more than a year of operation, Tuy Tam Charity Group has organized many large and small programs, helping thousands of people. But for Mr. Huy, that is never the end. He continues to plan trips to remote areas, expand patient support activities and call on more young people to join.
In the eyes of many people, Do Xuan Huy is an ordinary person. But it is that ordinaryness, with a heart that can move, that makes him special. He does not need to be rich to help people, does not need to be famous to inspire. Just being sincere and steadfast in what he believes is right - that is how Huy spreads love. Huy and his team not only help others with material things, but more importantly, he sows faith, sows hope, sows joy. For him, bringing joy to others is bringing joy to himself - and he does it with all his heart.
