Every evening, in the area in front of Vincom Plaza Ha Tinh , or Tran Phu Park (Thanh Sen Ward, Ha Tinh Province), it is not difficult to see the image of many innocent children driving all kinds of mini electric vehicles - from electric motorbikes, electric cars to balance bikes, electric scooters... It is worth mentioning that not only children but also teenagers, even adults are "fascinated" with this game. From the action of rushing, driving recklessly, performing 360-degree spins... to the chases that can be said to be heart-stopping, and there have been collisions.

At Tran Phu Park (Thanh Sen Ward, Ha Tinh Province), when seeing two students driving out of the area reserved for electric vehicles to the sidewalk next to the main road, the reporter asked and received the answer: "In the park, the students were driving too fast and crowded together, I was afraid they would crash into me. I was also just hit by a student, it hurt so much that I came out here to be safe."

Many people mistakenly think that mini electric cars for children are just harmless toys, but in fact they can reach quite high speeds of 10-20 km/h. For a child with little driving experience, just a small obstacle or a sudden brake can lead to a serious collision. Even the car rental company has to admit that electric cars can go so fast that they “give you a headache and make you dizzy”. Therefore, accidents are probably inevitable for child “drivers”.

Most children who are rented mini electric cars at the park by their parents are not equipped with any protective gear such as helmets, elbow or knee pads. When an accident occurs, the risk of injury increases many times over, from scratches, bruises, broken bones to head and brain injuries - injuries that can leave long-term sequelae.

It is worth mentioning that many parents seem to be very subjective when letting their children participate in this game. Even many adults participate in the game. Without control skills, adults will also find it difficult to handle when a collision occurs.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Minh - Deputy Head of the Economic , Infrastructure and Urban Department, Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee, "The mini electric car rental area for children at Tran Phu Park has appeared for a long time, spontaneously by households, the government has not yet granted an operating license but has only signed a commitment to ensure security, order and environmental sanitation. In the coming time, the locality will have a plan to re-examine and review whether or not this children's electric car area is licensed to operate."

Mini electric cars can be a fun form of entertainment for children, but cannot and should not come at the expense of their safety and health. Parents should consider before letting their children participate in this game.
