According to initial information, at around 3am on May 28, a fire suddenly broke out at Nguyen Khang's restaurant. After receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of Phu Quoc District Police dispatched 3 specialized fire trucks to put out the fire. By 4am on the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire severely damaged most of the items in the restaurant. The police are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
Contacting MC Nguyen Khang, he confirmed this information. The male MC shared that this was the first restaurant that he and two other shareholders invested in to run. Before that, the business also encountered difficulties when the number of tourists decreased. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the restaurant had to close for a while. Nguyen Khang said that he and the shareholders had to struggle to maintain operations, until the moment they reopened, the incident happened.

“I heard the news at 7am, when I turned on my phone, I immediately received 3 burnt photos sent by the shareholders' managers. At first, I thought it was another restaurant on fire, but when I looked again, I saw the signboard of my restaurant. I was stunned and wondered if I was dreaming or awake. I checked the restaurant's situation and saw that it was burnt to the ground. The police are still investigating... Our restaurant had been closed for a long time after the pandemic, and had only reopened for a day when this happened,” he shared.
Nguyen Khang confided that he had encountered many different storms in his life, but this was the first time he had encountered an incident in business. According to the male MC, when running a restaurant in Phu Quoc, he encountered many difficulties due to the distance and could not directly manage the restaurant. Because "distant water cannot put out a nearby fire", every time a problem occurred in the restaurant, he could not resolve it in time. Nguyen Khang said that this was also a lesson for him.

Nguyen Khang shared that at first he was quite shocked, but after calming down, he thought more optimistically and positively. The male MC thought that he was still luckier than many people, still having the MC job to earn extra income. After the incident at the restaurant, many artists and audiences called to ask about the situation as well as comfort and encourage Nguyen Khang.

“Everyone has ups and downs in life, the most important thing is to overcome them instead of avoiding them. I originally intended to hide the news from my mother because I was afraid she would be sad, but she also heard about it through the media. But what made me feel relieved was that when I got home, instead of comforting and confiding in my mother, she encouraged me instead. She said that it was like losing something to replace someone, and that no one was killed was the luckiest thing...”, he said.
Nguyen Khang revealed that he and his shareholders have decided to stop investing in the restaurant in Phu Quoc. Instead, the male MC is focusing his efforts on the newly opened restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. He said that this is also a lesson for him when "entering" the business world.
