(NLDO) - Nguyen Thuy Linh came back in set 2 with a series of 8 points to win 2-0, to enter round 2 of the Vietnam Open Badminton Tournament 2025.

On the morning of September 10, Thuy Linh had her opening match and won in 2 intense sets at the Super 100 Tournament - Vietnam Open 2025 at Nguyen Du Stadium (HCMC).

Against the world's 70th ranked player, Liang Ting-Yu (Chinese Taipei), Thuy Linh both started the two sets with errors that helped her opponent take the lead.

In the second half of the set, Thuy Linh had 3 consecutive 3-point streaks to lead 13-10, 18-14 and ended 21-15.
