Nang Restaurant was founded by the second generation of Din Ky - Mr. Chau Hoan Dong. Since childhood, he often helped his parents bring food to guests. This was the time when he gradually became aware of family traditions, nurturing the dream of continuing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine. He began taking over the work at Din Ky after returning from Singapore.
“My first job at Din Ky was as a sales and marketing officer. I had the opportunity to work and learn from my parents, uncles, brothers, sisters and aunts in the profession. In addition, I was lucky to be born into a family with a culinary tradition. Not only my parents, my grandmother also raised my uncles and father thanks to her stir-fried pork vermicelli stall,” he said.
The work experience passed down from previous generations became the most valuable thing for Mr. Dong. After many years working at Din Ky, he gradually came into contact with reality.
“After nearly 10 years working at Din Ky, I decided to open Nang restaurant to have the opportunity to serve more customers,” he shared.
Recalling his entrepreneurial journey, he said his father was a great supporter and advocate. Having been in the military, he was very strict, especially with work. When he learned about his son's idea, he and his family listened, advised and supported him.
Business lessons, challenges at work, and advice and sharing from his family are things that Chau Hoan Dong cherishes. That also motivates the CEO to always be strict with himself, continuing to build and develop the family brand.

As the second generation of Din Ky, Mr. Dong wants to innovate and create from the existing brand foundation. However, this is a difficult problem.
"How to develop the Din Ky brand in the future while still maintaining tradition and core values through many generations?" he wondered.
