On September 2, the Royal Gazette of Thailand reported that King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand approved the cabinet structure list submitted by new Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin. In addition to holding the title of Prime Minister , Mr. Srettha will also hold the position of Minister of Finance.

According to the Royal Gazette of Thailand, King Maha Vajiralongkorn has approved the list of six Deputy Prime Ministers and the positions of leaders of ministries proposed by Prime Minister Srettha.
Notably, the Prime Minister and most of the Deputy Prime Ministers in the new cabinet will concurrently hold additional ministerial positions.
In which, Prime Minister Srettha will concurrently hold the position of Minister of Finance.
Pheu Thai Party Vice President Phumtham Wechayachai will be Deputy Prime Minister and concurrently hold the position of Minister of Commerce.
Former Pheu Thai Party Vice President Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara will be Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
Bhumjaithai (Pride of Thailand) Party Chairman Anutin Charnvirakul will be Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs.
General Patcharawat Wongsuwon - Chairman of the Palang Pracharath Party (People's State Power), concurrently Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga - President of the United Thai Nation Party will be Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy.
Former Justice Minister Somsak Thepsuthin will take over as Deputy Prime Minister.
The position of Defense Minister is held by Mr. Sutin Klungsang - a member of the Pheu Thai Party. Another member of the Pheu Thai Party, Ms. Puangpetch Chunla-iad holds the position of Minister and Chief of the Office of the Government.
Thus, Pheu Thai, the largest party in the ruling coalition, will hold ministerial positions in influential ministries in the new cabinet, including Defense, Transport, Finance, Commerce, Foreign Affairs, and Health.
Meanwhile, Bhumjaithai, the second largest party in the ruling coalition, will take over the ministries of Home Affairs, Education and Labor.
Mr. Srettha, a candidate of the Pheu Thai Party, was elected as the 30th Prime Minister of Thailand on August 22 after winning a majority of votes in the National Assembly vote. Mr. Srettha's government was formed by a coalition of 11 parties, led by the Pheu Thai Party.
Prime Minister Srettha and 33 ministers are scheduled to take the oath before King Maha Vajiralongkorn, then make policy statements at a joint session of the National Assembly.
Prime Minister Srettha said the first cabinet meeting would focus on addressing the cost of living by reducing electricity and gas prices and easing visa rules for visitors to boost tourism.
