Vulgar songs on trending top
Recently, rappers Binh Gold and Andree Right Hand had a shocking collaboration when they released a MV called Doi Thu Pose , which currently has more than 1.9 million views and is ranked 3rd in YouTube's Trending Music chart. Notably, this song has lyrics that describe 18+ stories, causing shock. Not only that, the lyrics of the song also have passages that the online community believes promote the use of illegal substances. In addition to the vulgar lyrics, the visual part of this MV is equally offensive when it incorporates scenes of girls dancing with suggestive movements.
What is more surprising is that in the comments section of the above MV, in addition to the harsh criticism, there are mostly compliments like "the idol's music is so cool and catchy" from a part of the young audience. If there is no warning and criticism, this music genre may have a profound impact on the aesthetics and long-term listening culture of many young people.
Previously, in July, singers tlinh and Coldzy also released the MV Fever with erotic content, causing fierce controversy about the lyrics. Fever talks about the feelings of a couple in love, but makes listeners blush because it describes adult matters too explicitly. Many of the lyrics in this song are considered sensitive.

MV "De ai can" by B Ray and YoungH, remixed by Masew earlier this year, was also criticized for its offensive rap, lyrics insulting women, and cursing ex-lovers.
That's just a list of songs by young singers and musicians who are currently famous in the entertainment industry. New, unknown singers who release offensive songs and want to shock the public with "trash music" products to get their attention are as numerous as "mushrooms after the rain".
Can "trash music" be eliminated?
Most "trash music" songs are condemned and disagreed with by the majority of the audience, because "although rap is about everyday words, it must be profound and profound, not vulgar and nonsense like that". Musician Hoang Duy said: "When these trash songs were released to the market, they clearly quickly received attention and spread to everyone because of their different content. However, people only listened out of curiosity, listened to criticize, not listened because of their interestingness. Even though they were noticed for a moment, the names of the owners and authors of these trash songs will be tainted with the black mark of not doing a proper job, their names will not be respected, and it will be difficult to get a high position. However, just because of temporary attention, many young singers - new still recklessly shock with trash songs, so that this cycle cannot be completely stopped".
On the management side, to facilitate the creativity of individuals, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or relevant departments and agencies do not apply censorship before the release of music products, do not prohibit individuals from recording or producing MVs for online release; but will conduct post-inspection and handling if any song or author has works that violate public morality or the law when public opinion speaks up. The representative of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: "All MVs, if there are violations, must be handled according to the provisions of the law, specifically Decree 38/2021/ND-CP on administrative sanctions in the field of culture and advertising, as amended by Decree 128/2022/ND-CP, and Article 3 of Decree 144/2020/ND-CP regulating prohibitions in performing arts activities".
Singer Coldzy and tlinh shocked with MV Fever
As for singers and authors of "trash music", after releasing the MV, gaining attention and being condemned by the community, they quickly removed the song from their channels, such as Fever by Coldzy, tlinh is no longer on the original official channel (other channels of netizens are still circulating), and both of them claim that they will soon release a "cleaner" version than this "dirty" version.
Rapper B Ray also admitted his mistake and announced that he would remove the song "De ai can" from all platforms. Rapper Binh Gold was previously heavily criticized for his vulgar songs and had hidden MVs such as "Boc bat ho", "Ong ba gia tao lo het", "Tron", "Quan ty vong", "Dai may bay" from his YouTube channel before being handled by the authorities, but now he has repeated the "mistake" with the MV "Doi thong tinh" which is currently sitting comfortably in the "hot hit" position on digital music charts.
Many cases have been punished by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, such as rapper Chi Ca (real name Dinh Thanh Tung) was fined 45 million VND because the song Censored had incestuous content, along with destroying and deleting the song, and collaborating with TikTok to attack the copyright of clips spreading this music. The group Rap Nha Lam was also fined 45 million VND for circulating the MV Thich Ca Mau Chi, which insulted beliefs and religions, and forced to delete the song on YouTube. "The current proliferation of trash music is not new, but the penalties are not high and they continue to release products to shock; there should be stronger measures, such as banning professional activities in front of the public, for example. On the audience's side, we must be aware that when we see trash music, we must know how to avoid it, don't praise or encourage it when we see trash," audience member Ngoc Nhi frankly said.
The leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said they will discuss with the Department of Performing Arts to investigate and consider each case specifically for proper handling. Mr. Tran Huong Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, said he has received public feedback on the "trash music" songs that are being criticized by public opinion and will soon have an official conclusion.
