(LĐ online) - Among the 33 outstanding musical works that have just been awarded the prize in the Campaign to compose songs about the National Assembly and People's Council organized by the National Assembly of Vietnam in coordination with the Vietnam Musicians Association, the song National Assembly Sun by musician - Meritorious Artist Dinh Nghi won the consolation prize.

The campaign to compose songs about the National Assembly and People's Councils is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), aiming to select excellent musical works, deeply depicting the sacred role and mission of the National Assembly and People's Councils in the cause of national liberation, national defense, construction and development.

After nearly 1 year of launching, the Organizing Committee has received 672 works from nearly 400 musicians from all over the country. Through 2 preliminary and final rounds, the Evaluation Council selected 33 excellent works, and considered awarding 5 B prizes, 9 C prizes, 19 consolation prizes; no A prizes.
