In order to prepare for the development of industrial parks for the period up to 2030 and after 2030, Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee has agreed on the policy of stopping the implementation of the general planning of Dong Phu Industrial and Residential Park with a scale of about 6,317 hectares in Dong Phu district; at the same time, Resolution No. 09/NQ-TU dated June 13, 2023 on the 14th Conference of the 11th Provincial Party Executive Committee, resolving to approve the policy of establishing a general planning of Dong Phu Southeast Industrial Park.
The development orientation of Dong Phu Southeast Industrial Park with a total area of about 4,196 hectares, located in Tan Lap and Tan Hoa communes, will create a driving force for the district to become a dynamic, ecological and connected urban area; focusing on developing industries with potential and strengths of the district such as processing agricultural and forestry products, processing livestock products, garment exports, and production of handicrafts for tourism.
At the meeting, the people of Hamlet 1 and Hamlet 4 of Tan Lap Commune contributed their opinions to assess the reasonableness of the boundary scope, scale, nature of the planning task area and the content of the planning task. This will serve as a basis for completing the task profile and budget estimate for the general planning of the construction of Dong Nam Dong Phu Industrial Park.
