Go with the people

Although there were many people, the warm attitude and enthusiastic reception and support of the commune police officers created a lot of sympathy for the people coming to do the procedures.
Mr. Le Van Chau (84 years old, in Dan Thuong village, Phu Ninh commune) was taken by relatives to the headquarters to complete the procedures for issuing an ID card.
Right from the headquarters gate, Mr. Chau was welcomed, supported, and given priority to complete procedures early along with a number of elderly and disabled people.

Keep the border secure
With a large, complex area and a border with Laos, the police in border communes have proactively identified challenges and flexibly deployed measures to maintain a security "shield" in the border area.
Eating, living and bonding with the border people, the police officers and soldiers of Hung Son commune did not hesitate to go to each house and each village to listen and share the difficulties of the people.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3 at the end of July, Hung Son commune experienced heavy rain and whirlwinds that blew off the roofs of many houses in a series of villages such as Cha'nóc, A Tu, Dhung 1, Put 2, and H'juh.
Receiving the news, continuously for many days, the commune police coordinated with the local security forces to quickly arrive at the villages to help the people.
Braving through the rain and mud, the commune police and other forces were present from early morning to late at night to help people harvest rice, collect materials to re-roof their houses, and firmly brace them after the storm.
From the funds contributed by officers and soldiers, the unit also supports necessities such as instant noodles and food to help people stabilize their lives after the natural disaster.
Lieutenant Colonel Bhonuoc Den, Chief of Hung Son Commune Police, said that officers and soldiers always strictly follow the instructions of the City Police and stick to the area.
“Whenever people need it, the officers and soldiers of the commune police will be ready to support. In the border area, people trust and respect us, helping us have more eyes and ears to contribute to ensuring national security, protecting border sovereignty , and developing the local socio-economy,” Lieutenant Colonel Bhonuoc Den shared.
During a recent working trip with the police of border communes, Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of the City Police, emphasized the strategic role of the commune and ward police in general and the police of border communes in particular.
“Maintaining security and order in the area is a particularly important task. Commune police need to promote their core role in the grassroots political system and improve the effectiveness of their advisory work with local Party committees and authorities in ensuring security and order.
At the same time, we must grasp the situation firmly, avoid passive and unexpected situations, increase contact and be close to the people to promptly grasp and resolve problems arising at the grassroots level.
Thereby, contributing to maintaining national sovereignty and security, and keeping people's lives peaceful," said Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong.
