Found nearly 150 million VND, asked the Commune Police to find and return it to the owner

Having found a backpack containing 150 million VND in cash and many important documents, Mr. Huynh Cong Son, a resident of Ba Na commune (Da Nang city) brought it to the commune police station to report.

The incident occurred at 9:30 am this morning, July 17, Mr. Huynh Cong Son (born in 1993, residing in Phuoc Hau village, Ba Na commune, Da Nang city) went to Ba Na commune police to report that he had picked up a black backpack while going to the local market. Upon inspection, inside the backpack were 150 million VND in cash, 1 savings book, 2 land use right certificates along with many important personal documents and personal belongings.

Mr. Huynh Cong Son brought a backpack containing 150 million VND and many valuable documents to Ba Na Commune Police to ask them to find the owner of the lost bag and return it.

Ba Na Commune Police handed over all valuable assets in the lost backpack to Mr. Nguyen Minh on July 17.

Immediately after receiving the item, Ba Na Commune Police quickly verified and checked the information from the documents to find the owner. In a short time, the Commune Police identified the owner as Mr. Nguyen Minh (born in 1959, residing in Hoc Mon, Ho Chi Minh City), who was working in Da Nang.

Mr. Minh then went to the Ba Na Commune Police Headquarters to receive all of his lost property. Moved by the honesty and responsibility of the people and the enthusiastic support of the police force, he sent a thank you letter expressing his deep gratitude to Mr. Huynh Cong Son and the officers and soldiers of the Da Nang Commune Police.
