The total scale of the support package for the 2020-2024 period is up to nearly 900,000 billion VND. For the solutions that have been and are being implemented, the total expected support for businesses and people in 2025 is about 204,000 billion VND, higher than the support level in 2024, to promote economic recovery and development.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice President of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, said that for small and medium enterprises with limited scale and revenue, tax and fee reduction is extremely important.

“With this policy, we appreciate the Government's strong working spirit in recent times because it has strongly touched the wishes of businesses,” said Mr. Mac Quoc Anh.

In addition, the Tax Department (Ministry of Finance) has also had many solutions to support business households and individuals through e-commerce platforms. From April 1, 2025, e-commerce platforms and digital platforms with payment functions will have to deduct and pay taxes on behalf of business households and individuals on the platform.

This regulation helps reduce administrative procedures for taxpayers and facilitates the implementation of tax obligations, while promoting the development of e-commerce.

In particular, this year, administrative procedure reform and digital transformation continue to be two important pillars in the strategy to improve tax management efficiency, creating more favorable conditions for people and businesses to fulfill tax obligations in a transparent, fast and cost-effective manner.

The Ministry of Finance said that in the coming time, it will continue to promote proactiveness, creativity, and flexibility to develop fiscal policy plans and scenarios to submit to the Government.
