Many localities organized the awarding of Party Badges on May 19th.

To commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on the morning of May 19, many localities in the province solemnly organized ceremonies to present Party badges to senior Party members, recognizing their contributions to the cause of Party building, government building, and homeland development.

• Presenting Party badges, expressing gratitude for years of dedication.
• Presenting the 70-Year Party Membership Badge to veteran Party members.
• Presenting Party badges to veteran Party members.

*In Vinh Trach and Bac Lieu wards, Comrade Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Ca Mau , visited and presented Party badges to senior Party members in the area.

Accordingly, Comrade Tran Dong Bac, a member of the Vinh An Hamlet Party Branch (Vinh Trach Ward), was awarded the 60-year Party Membership Badge; and Comrade Mai Ngoc Suong, a member of the Hamlet 20 Party Branch (Bac Lieu Ward), was awarded the 65-year Party Membership Badge.

At the awarding ceremony, on behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu respectfully pinned the Party Badge, presented the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and extended congratulations to the Party members who received the Party Badge this time.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu emphasized that the 60-year and 65-year Party membership badges are not only an honor for individual Party members and their families, but also a source of pride for the entire Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee. This is also an opportunity for generations of cadres and Party members to learn from the revolutionary spirit, unwavering will, loyalty, and responsibility of senior Party members towards the Party and their homeland.

Comrade Pham Van Thieu expressed his wish that Party members continue to live happily and healthily, uphold the qualities of a Party member, and serve as shining examples for the younger generation to follow; while also actively participating in building the Party and strengthening the political system at the grassroots level.

*In An Xuyen ward, Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, led a delegation to present Party badges to senior Party members in the area.

At each location visited, Comrade Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, along with the delegation, extended greetings, wished good health, and expressed their appreciation for the contributions of veteran Party members in the struggle for national liberation, and in building and developing their homeland.

At each location visited, the Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Tran Huu Phuoc, congratulated and expressed his appreciation for the dedication and training of the veteran Party members; he also hoped that they would continue to uphold the qualities of a Party member, educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions, and contribute ideas to building the Party and developing the locality.

Deeply moved upon receiving the 65-year Party membership badge, the comrades expressed their honor and pride in being recognized by the Party; they also affirmed that they will continue to uphold revolutionary qualities and ethics, live exemplary lives, and actively contribute to their homeland.

*In Bac Lieu ward, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee organized a ceremony to present Party Badges to 43 Party members of the ward's Party organization. Of these, 3 comrades received the badges from the Provincial Party Standing Committee and 2 comrades received them posthumously.

This time, the Party Committee of the ward has 4 comrades receiving the 60-year Party membership badge; 4 comrades receiving the 55-year and 50-year Party membership badges; 20 comrades receiving the 45-year and 40-year Party membership badges; and 5 comrades receiving the 30-year Party membership badge.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Lieu Ward, Doan Hong Linh, presented the 50-year Party membership badge to Party members of the ward.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade To Viet Thu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Council of the ward, congratulated the Party members who received the Party Badge this time; and affirmed that this is a recognition and appreciation from the Party and the State for the contributions of Party members throughout their work, training, and dedication.

Comrade To Viet Thu expressed his wish that senior Party members would continue to uphold revolutionary qualities, contribute their experience and wisdom to the development of the locality; serve as shining examples for the younger generation to follow, and contribute to building a stronger Party and political system.

*On the same day, the Party Committee of Ganh Hao commune held a ceremony to present Party membership badges for the May 19th commemoration to two Party members currently active in the Party Branch of Hamlet 2: Comrade Tran Minh Tam received the 45-year Party membership badge and Comrade Vo Van De received the 30-year Party membership badge.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, presented Party badges to two Party members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Huy Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ganh Hao commune, acknowledged the positive contributions of the Party members who were awarded the Party Badge. He also expressed his hope that these comrades would continue to uphold the qualities of a Party member, promote exemplary roles, and contribute to building a stronger Party committee and local political system.
