According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province , in the first two days of the April 30th and May 1st holiday, the locality welcomed nearly 500,000 tourists, an increase of 16% compared to the same period in 2024.
On May 1st alone, the total number of tourists visiting attractions throughout the province was estimated at 320,000. Of these, the total number of overnight stays was estimated at approximately 134,000, with international tourists accounting for an estimated 21,700, generating an estimated total revenue of 880 billion VND.
According to the authorities, on May 1st, localities continued to organize a series of attractive tourism activities, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and experience.

The beach was packed with people, leaving many first-time visitors to Sam Son stunned.
On the afternoon of May 1st, the main roads leading into the coastal city of Sam Son (Thanh Hoa) were bustling with vehicles, mostly tourist buses from all over.
The weather during this year's holiday wasn't ideal, with lots of clouds and not-too-high temperatures, yet the beaches of Sam Son were still packed with people.

To ensure the safety of tourists, many dangerous areas have been marked with warning signs by the authorities. The authorities have also publicly announced regulations for tourism in the area, as well as hotline numbers for tourists to contact when needed.
This year, Sam Son aims to welcome 9.68 million visitors, serve 19.9 million visitor-days, and achieve estimated revenue of approximately 21,000 billion VND.

On April 30th and May 1st, tourists flocked to Cua Lo beach (Vinh City, Nghe An province) to have fun, eat, and swim. The central road of this tourist area was always congested with vehicles, cars inching forward in a long queue.
According to data from Nghe An's tourism industry, since the opening of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival (April 19th), the number of hotel bookings has increased daily. Room rates range from 500,000 to 3 million VND. The booking rate for the April 30th and May 1st holidays at hotels and accommodation establishments reached over 90%, with all 3-star and above-rated hotels fully booked.

To prepare for the 2025 Cua Lo tourism season, Vinh City is upgrading its urban infrastructure, establishing free freshwater bathing areas, and providing free parking. Vinh City aims to welcome over 6.9 million tourists to Cua Lo and achieve 7,000 billion VND in revenue from tourism activities.

In In Hue City , during the first two days of the April 30th and May 1st holiday, tourist destinations within the Hue Imperial Citadel complex were always crowded with visitors despite the hot weather.
On April 30th, 18,796 visitors came to the historical sites in Hue, including 3,248 international visitors and 15,548 domestic visitors.

In Da Nang City , Pham Van Dong and My Khe beaches were packed with people sightseeing and swimming.
During the April 30th and May 1st holiday, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang's tourist beaches organized nearly 20 cultural, sports, and tourism activities at the beach with the theme "Dance of the Blue Waves" to serve tourists.
