Many special scholarships for banking students

On October 2, Banking Academy held the Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year.

At the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh - Deputy Director in charge of the Board of Directors of the Banking Academy congratulated and welcomed 3,800 new full-time university students of the 27th course and students of the academy's international joint training program.

Prof. Dr. Bui Huu Toan - Chairman of the Banking Academy Council awarded scholarships to new students with top scores in the entrance exam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Hoang Anh sent a message to the students: To adapt to the Vietnamese economy that is changing every day under the impact of digital technology and artificial intelligence, students must equip themselves not only with basic knowledge but also with creative thinking, analytical skills and technology management.

You need to make an effort to practice your intelligence, soft skills and flexible adaptability; constantly learn, absorb and apply technology but do not forget that people are the decisive factor for the success of technology.

Ms. Hoang Anh also hopes that, amid the trend of globalization and international integration, students need to be imbued with traditional cultural values of their ancestors such as: patriotism, solidarity, diligence, creativity and humanity; and be people who always uphold a sense of responsibility.

Also at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam sent his congratulations to the teachers and students of the Banking Academy, especially the new students who were admitted to the school this year.

Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam spoke at the ceremony.

Mr. Tu hopes that the road ahead is still long, the new living and learning environment, new teaching methods and new areas of knowledge require students to constantly strive to study, research and practice. From there, students will nurture their own will, advanced learning methods, practice dynamic and civilized behavior, attitudes and cultural behavior; overcome all difficulties and challenges to succeed in learning, creating a solid foundation for future learning.

With a long-standing, prestigious and quality educational and training institution, students of the Banking Academy will have many favorable conditions to study, practice and acquire new knowledge to become excellent financial and banking officers in the future and an important additional human resource for the banking industry and the country.

At the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, the Banking Academy awarded 3 valedictorians of the 2024 admissions year, 3 valedictorians of the 2024 graduation year, awarded Special scholarships to 11 students and Banking scholarships to 86 students.

On this occasion, commercial banks also joined the school in sponsoring many valuable scholarships, contributing to supporting students in their learning and development process.
