At Tac Rang market, An Hoa ward, Rach Gia city, the price of pork leg, belly, ribs, lean shoulder... is at 80,000-140,000 VND/kg, an increase of 10,000 VND/kg compared to the previous month. The price of rice also increased from 1,000-2,000 VND/kg depending on the type. Fruits, vegetables, and seafood also increased slightly by 5%.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quoc Thuan - Deputy Director of Co.opmart Kien Giang said: "Foreseeing that the prices of essential goods will increase in the last months of the year, the Co.opmart system has signed contracts with manufacturers and suppliers to reserve goods very early. Thanks to that, although the prices of goods at the supermarket are currently 5-10% higher than the same period in 2023, we have implemented promotional programs to share the difficulties with consumers."

Specifically: Cabbage 8,600 VND/kg, Dalat tomatoes 34,900 VND/kg, water spinach 25,200 VND/kg, all kinds of cabbages priced from 25,000-31,000 VND/kg, pork priced from 63,000-190,000 VND/kg, all kinds of seafood priced from 64,000-190,000 VND/kg, sugar priced from 26,000-28,000 VND/kg, green beans 56,000 VND/kg...

According to Deputy Director of Co.opmart Kien Giang Nguyen Thi Quoc Thuan, purchasing power has decreased the most, with beer down 50%, and essential goods down 10-20% compared to the same period last year.
