It is known that after treatment, Mr. M's health gradually recovered.

According to Lam Dong General Hospital, since the beginning of the year, the hospital has received a total of 13 people showing signs of poisoning due to eating wild mushrooms. Among them, there is one tourist and 12 locals. Notably, of these 13 patients, 8 are from 2 families.

As Dan Tri reported, after the rains, people and tourists go to pine forests in Da Lat city and districts in Lam Dong province to collect mushrooms for food.

Dr. Truong Binh Nguyen, a mycologist from the Faculty of Biology, Dalat University, said that during the rainy season, pine mushrooms in Dalat grow strongly and are often distributed into populations.

Some types of mushrooms have delicious flavors and eye-catching colors, and are known as "heaven's gifts", attracting people and tourists to the forest to pick them and bring them home to prepare dishes.

Dr. Truong Binh Nguyen warns that according to published research, there are nearly 300 types of symbiotic mushrooms under the pine canopy in Da Lat, many types of poisonous and non-poisonous mushrooms have similar shapes.

Therefore, people who collect wild mushrooms need knowledge and experience to ensure safety. In particular, do not arbitrarily taste unverified mushrooms, do not touch poisonous mushrooms or strange mushrooms to avoid affecting your health.
