Many "hot" universities announce early admission scores

Although the 2023 high school graduation exam scores have not been announced, many universities and academies have announced early admission benchmark scores.

University of Commerce announced the benchmark scores according to 4 early admission methods in 2023.

Four admission methods include: Based on academic records (admission method code 200), based on competency assessment results (402a), based on thinking assessment scores (402b), and based on a combination of international certificates and academic records (410).

With the admission method based on academic transcript scores, the benchmark score ranges from 25 - 27.50. Logistics and Supply Chain Management have the highest benchmark score. Following are Marketing and E-commerce - 27 points.

With the admission method based on the results of the capacity assessment, the admission standard score ranges from 17.50 to 21 points.

The University of Science (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) announced the benchmark scores for early admission methods to the school in 2023. With the admission method based on the international SAT certificate, the admission score to the University of Science ranges from 1,100 to 1,330.

The highest benchmark scores belong to the majors of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Mathematics. With the admission method based on the results of the competency assessment test (HSA) organized by Hanoi National University, the highest benchmark score is 150. In which, the admission score of the competency assessment test for the 4 majors of Mathematics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Information, and Data Science is the sum of the quantitative thinking score (multiplied by a coefficient of 2) plus the qualitative thinking score plus the Science score of the competency assessment test.

Hanoi National University of Education 2 announces admission scores based on the method of considering academic records; considering the competency assessment test scores of two national universities and Hanoi National University of Education considering academic records combined with aptitude test scores. The lowest admission score in this method is Biotechnology with 23.33 points.

Preschool Education and Physical Education are the only two majors that consider admission by combining the results of the academic transcript and the aptitude test scores, with the standard scores of 24.2 and 23.55 respectively.

The Diplomatic Academy announced the threshold for early admission applications to full-time university programs. The top position belongs to the International Communication major with 29.00 points. The American Studies major has the lowest score of 26.25 points.

According to the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Training, early admission at universities does not guarantee that students will be admitted to their desired university. Candidates still have to register their wishes on the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training, this point is very important.

The time to register admission wishes on the General Admission Support System of the Ministry of Education and Training lasts from July 10 to July 30. During this period, candidates can register and adjust their admission wishes without limit.
