Hottest Kpop girl group of July: aespa surpasses IVE, TWICE

The Korean Business Research Institute has just announced the July 2024 brand reputation rankings for Kpop girl groups.

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from June 14 to July 14, 2024.

Four-member girl group aespa rose to the top of this month's list, with a brand reputation index of 6,189,495, marking a 14.41 percent increase from June.

High-ranking phrases in aespa's keyword analysis include “Supernova,” “MY,” and “concert.” While the highest-ranking related terms include “addictive,” “sing along,” and “recording.”

The group's positive-negative analysis also showed a positive response score of 91.38%.

IVE Group dropped to 2nd place in July with a brand reputation index of 4,533,636.

Third-generation girl group TWICE rose to third place, after seeing their brand reputation index increase by 85.10 percent from the previous month, bringing their total score for July to 4,253,417 points.

LE SSERAFIM ranked 4th with a brand reputation index of 4,008,137 points, marking an increase of 65.29% compared to June.

Finally, (G)I-DLE came in at 5th place with a brand reputation index of 3,960,533 points, up 53.38%.
