Encroaching on the sidewalk, many shops on Pham Su Manh street also conveniently encroach on the road.

The situation of encroachment on railway safety corridors in "train street" in Hoan Kiem ward is still widespread.

For many years now, the functional forces of Hoan Kiem district (old) and the new Hoan Kiem ward have regularly taken action, but the situation of re-encroachment on railway corridors for business purposes is still very painful.

Parking lots that block sidewalks and obstruct people's access are also a painful problem in the three wards of Cua Nam, Hoan Kiem, and Ba Dinh.

Along Ly Thuong Kiet street, although there are many underground parking lots, cars and motorbikes still block people's sidewalks.

People are forced to walk in the middle of the street, when sidewalks and roadsides are turned into parking lots for cars and motorbikes.

The sidewalk in front of the gate of Viet Duc School on Ly Thuong Kiet Street has a sign saying "no parking in this area", but is still surrounded by vehicles.

Many sidewalks and roads in Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, and Cua Nam wards, no matter how large or wide, are still occupied by shops and parking lots, narrowing the space for pedestrians, who even have to walk on the road, causing traffic insecurity.
