Journalist Tran Trong Dung - Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, in charge of the South, said that the "Proud of the City I Love" walking and running race will take place on June 15, starting at Le Loi Avenue (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and finishing at Thu Thiem area (Thu Duc City). The race is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

"Ho Chi Minh City is also the cradle of many revolutionary journalists. With such special meanings, this walking and running race has the message: Proud of the city I love.
