The Quang Binh PC Veterans Association was established in August 2004. Up to now, the association has a total of 25 members, participating in activities in 4 branches (1 branch at the agency and 3 branches at affiliated units). Over the past 20 years of operation, the association has always actively promoted the tradition and qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers"; exemplary in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and regulations of agencies and enterprises; ready to overcome all difficulties and challenges; worthy of being pioneers in labor, production and business, contributing to the excellent completion of all assigned tasks.
Talking to us, Mr. Nguyen Truong Khan, Chairman of the PC War Veterans Association of Quang Binh confided: After leaving the army and donning the "orange shirts" of the Electricity industry, each member of the PC War Veterans Association is very proud to have more opportunities to continue to contribute their strength and intelligence to their homeland and country. In the period of 2019-2024, members of the PC War Veterans Association of Quang Binh have actively trained, studied, pioneered, and set an example when participating in many investment projects, renovating the province's key power grid to put it into operation, use safely and stably, such as: Construction of the power line system and 110kV transformer stations of Bo Trach, Bac Dong Hoi, Tay Bac Quan Hau.
These projects have contributed to upgrading the province's high-quality power source, gradually renovating, upgrading, and improving the grid to prevent overload. In addition, the members of the PC Quang Binh Association of War Veterans have also actively participated in the task of receiving the grid as public property to the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) according to the Government 's policy...

PC Quang Binh Veterans Association currently has about 85% of members who are direct production workers and most of them are highly skilled workers with a lot of experience in the work. Over the years, the members have always promoted creativity and had many initiatives in technical innovation, self-study to improve their professional qualifications and skills, actively contributing to the production and business activities of PC Quang Binh.
With the spirit of overcoming difficulties, many Veterans Association members at the units have promoted their sense of responsibility, focused on improving their skills to contribute to overcoming incidents caused by natural disasters and floods that occur every year, quickly restoring power supply in the whole province as soon as possible. In particular, in June 2024, implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, EVN, and the Central Power Corporation on the plan to complete the energization of the 500kV circuit 3 line Quang Trach (Quang Binh) - Pho Noi ( Hung Yen ), the association sent 2 Veterans Association members/40 skilled officers and workers of PC Quang Binh, namely Veterans Doan Khac Phuc and Veterans Association Nguyen Quoc Hung, to participate in this key project and were both honored to be commended by the Provincial Enterprise Sector Veterans Association for their outstanding achievements in participating in supporting the project...
Not only performing well the assigned professional tasks, the PCV Quang Binh Association of War Veterans also actively participates in many meaningful and practical activities, such as: Organizing visits to "red addresses" on the occasion of major holidays to arouse patriotism in the younger generation; contributing to building gratitude houses; undertaking 1-2 construction projects/year with the revenue from 20-50 million VND/project to raise funds for the association's activities.
In addition, the Quang Binh PC War Veterans Association also enthusiastically participates in campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Electricity industry and the Provincial Enterprise Bloc War Veterans Association, such as: "Day for the poor", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", emulation movements "Good production and business workers", "Fire and explosion prevention and control", "Drug and social evil prevention and control", "All people unite to build new rural areas"... Currently, 100% of members of the Quang Binh PC War Veterans Association have achieved the title of exemplary members, 100% of members' families have achieved the title of cultural family, 100% of association bases have achieved the title of clean and strong.
