Located in Bristol, in the hills two and a half hours drive from London, restaurant and pub The Bank Tavern currently has a waiting list of up to four years, according to Dojo's latest research.
The Bank Tavern is known for dishes like 30-day aged rare beef, slow-cooked pork belly, honey-roasted rosemary lamb leg, and lentil-vegetable bread rolls.
Diners can also choose between Sriracha-glazed pork belly with apple coleslaw and Greek-style squid balls. Dessert options include strawberry and white chocolate pavlova, limoncello tart and raspberry yogurt panna cotta.
On The Bank Tavern's website, customers are informed that Sunday dinner reservations are closed "for the foreseeable future."
In 2019, the restaurant's homemade gravy and giant Yorkshire puddings propelled their Sunday night menu to fame, being named the best in Britain by The Guardian's monthly Food Awards.
Meanwhile, the second hardest place to get a reservation in the world is Damon Baehrel's restaurant in Earlton, New York's Hudson Valley. The restaurant's menu is inspired by Native Harvest cuisine , the experience lasts over five hours and costs $525 per person.
The restaurant is ranked as the second most exclusive global restaurant, with a waiting list of about a year.
Most of the restaurants with the most difficult reservations only pay tables in monthly installments.
However, bookings have been facing backlogs since the COVID-19 pandemic.
