After three consecutive seasons with Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong, the most prestigious golf tournament in Vietnam has officially “departed” to a new territory: Gia Lai , the heart of the Central Highlands. The 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship is an important “testing” round to select members for the national team to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of the year. About 80% of the national team members will participate in the tournament, including Nguyen Tuan Anh, Le Chuc An, Nguyen Viet Gia Han…

The coaching staff will closely monitor each shot to assess the player’s ability to adapt to harsh terrain, mentality under pressure and tactics against strong opponents. The results in Gia Lai will determine the final ticket of honor to the 33rd SEA Games, where Vietnamese golf aims for a medal.

At the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, Vietnamese golf had the most successful tournament in history when winning 3 medals: Gold Medal for Men's Individual (Le Khanh Hung), Bronze Medal for Men's Individual (Nguyen Anh Minh) and Silver Medal for Men's Team. This is the motivation for the team to aim for a higher goal in Thailand later this year.
