White sand dunes hug the blue sea

BTO-Tuy Phong is not only famous for its spiritual tourism of Hang Pagoda or Co Thach beach in the green moss season, the unique seven-color stone beach, the long wind turbine fields... but now many people know about the pristine white sand dunes hugging the blue sea.

Along the Tuy Phong coast, there are many gently sloping sand dunes located in the Hoa Phu, Chi Cong, Binh Thanh areas, which are very different from the red sand dunes of Mui Ne or the Hoa Thang Virgin Hill. When the Hoa Thang - Hoa Phu road opened across the wild sand strips, the Hoa Phu sand dunes became known to many people. Every day, when the sun is about to set, hundreds of locals and tourists stop their cars on the roadside to climb the sand dunes to experience. Many couples hold hands and reach the top of the sand dunes, spreading their arms wide as if to embrace the breeze blowing in from the ocean. Mr. Nguyen Hung - a local resident of Hoa Phu said: "The shape of the sand dunes in this area changes very quickly, the footprints are filled with sand. The higher you go, the more undulating and immense the sand dunes are all around...".

Here, the image of “blue sea, white sand, yellow sunshine” is like a picture perfectly woven by nature, with beautiful, soft, curving sand lines, smooth sand embracing the deep blue sea. Further away is the Chi Cong sand hill stretching for kilometers along National Highway 1. In the morning sunlight, the sand is pure white.
In the distance, undulating sand dunes surround a clear, cool lake, interspersed with someone's garden. Many people working in the fields or herding goats often stop by to get water to water their plants or wash their faces to cool off. The most beautiful is still Mui La Gan (Binh Thanh) jutting out into the sea and embracing the long white sand dunes. Binh Thanh sand dunes are located in La Gan fishing village. Although the sand dunes are not as large and majestic as Hoa Thang Virgin Hill or Mui Ne Flying Sand Dunes, they have a difference that arouses the curiosity of tourists, which is that their colors constantly change by the hour of the day. Sometimes the sand turns white, then yellow, then gray-white... Each windy season, Binh Thanh sand dunes change, creating hills, sand cliffs... of diverse shapes. In the past, the sand dunes were quite wild and quiet, but now they are a place of entertainment for many tourists. Many people come to the sand dunes to play sand sliding... and couples choose this place to take their wedding photos. Every year during the traditional New Year, sand dune climbing competitions are held here, so it is very exciting...".

Tuy Phong is a land of sunshine and wind, the weather is harsher than many other places, but in return, nature has bestowed upon this land many unique seascapes and white sand dunes stretching along the beautiful blue coastline.
