Titan submarine debris surprises experts

According to the Daily Mail , some identifiable parts of the Titan submersible have been brought ashore since June 27, including the bow and a large piece that appears to belong to the rear of the ship.

The size of some parts surprised experts, as they had previously thought that after the catastrophic explosion, the Titan submersible had been crushed into pieces.

Remarkably, the remains of the ship are made of titanium. It is believed that titanium parts are much more resistant to disasters than carbon fiber parts - which comprise most of the hull.

Additionally, images from the salvage operation show a cluster of equipment including numerous cables and wires were also found.

Investigators will attempt to reassemble the ship to find out the cause of the disaster.

Many of them believe that the non-titanium parts have disintegrated, making the investigation much more difficult, according to Tom Maddox, CEO of Underwater Investigators.

The large pieces of titanium found once again hint at the previous suspicion of many experts that it was the carbon fiber parts of the Titan submersible that led to the disaster.

The use of carbon fiber is a new experiment by Stockton Rush, CEO of OceanGate, which owns the Titan submersible and organizes expeditions to the Titanic. This material has caused many experts to warn that the ship may be less stable after many dives.

The Titan submersible also has not yet met design certification procedures, such as third-party reviews from the US Department of Transportation.

Titanic director James Cameron, who is also a deep-sea explorer, believes that the submersible's carbon-fiber parts are now crumbling on the ocean floor.
