On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, on the afternoon of November 19, Bach Mai Hospital and Bach Mai Medical College solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
The ceremony is an occasion to honor the silent teachers of the medical profession, those who have devoted their lives to passing on knowledge, medical ethics and humanity to future generations of nurses, technicians and medical staff .

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Giap, Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital, said that teachers are not only the ones who pass on knowledge, but also pass on medical ethics to medical students (Photo: The Duong).
Speaking at the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Giap emphasized: "Teachers not only impart complex medical knowledge and specialized clinical techniques, but more importantly, they are the ones who instill medical ethics. Teachers have taught the school's students that no matter how solid their techniques are, they cannot replace the bright heart of a physician.
In each lecture and each practice session, teachers put their dedication and attention to every detail because the results of the students' labor will later be measured by the hope and lives of the patients.
According to Associate Professor Giap, Bach Mai Medical College is not only an educational unit, but also an "extended arm" of Bach Mai Hospital - a Special-class hospital, the country's leading specialized medical center.
It is this special bond that creates an ideal training environment: theory is close to practice, lecture halls are attached to patient rooms, and the curriculum is the most complex medical cases that take place every day.
Right here, the school's teachers are both lecturers and doctors, both white-coated soldiers directly treating patients; and also ferrymen of knowledge, imparting valuable clinical experience, warmth and sympathy from the hospital room to students.
Bach Mai Hospital is extremely proud because the school is the "cradle" that provides high-quality human resources, contributing directly to the sustainable development of the Hospital and the cause of protecting the health of people nationwide.
