As a result, even when facing heavy loads or moving on harsh terrain, with just a light throttle, the diesel engine has achieved the most optimal pulling performance. Meanwhile, to achieve maximum pulling power with a gasoline engine, a much higher rpm level is required, possibly up to twice or one and a half times.

Furthermore, an engine that consistently operates at lower RPMs under heavy loads will also last longer. This may explain why large trucks with diesel engines can run millions of kilometers without losing performance.

In addition, diesel engines have another advantage, which is that the electrical system will be much simpler than gasoline engines. Therefore, when used in hot and humid environments, often flooded or dusty, diesel engines like the TATA superACE can also withstand better.
