Ninh Binh and Son La have new provincial police directors.

On the afternoon of November 4, 2024, at Ninh Binh Provincial Police, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.

Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Dinh Viet Dung to the position of Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police.

Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Son La Provincial Police.

At the same time, the decision to transfer and appoint Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Security, Ministry of Public Security, was announced to take up the position of Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police.

Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department, spoke at the ceremony announcing the decision of the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of Colonel Dang Trong Cuong and Colonel Dinh Viet Dung in all aspects of work, combat, and force building at the units over the past time.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security believes that in their new positions, the comrades who have been transferred and appointed will continue to promote their sense of responsibility, capacity, and strengths, and excellently complete their assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee of Ninh Binh and Son La provinces, all levels, sectors, and all classes of people.

At the ceremony, Colonel Dinh Viet Dung, Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police, promised that in his new position, he will continue to cultivate, train, and promote his abilities, strengths, and work experience to work with the Party Committee, Board of Directors, and police officers and soldiers of the entire province to successfully complete assigned tasks.
