To achieve this result, in the past time, all levels, sectors and localities in the district have implemented many solutions to support and improve the capacity of entities participating in the OCOP Program; regularly promote propaganda and raise awareness for entities about the purpose and meaning of the program. Thereby, the subjects realize the benefits and effectiveness of developing OCOP products and actively participate.
According to the participants of the OCOP Program, this is not only an opportunity to promote and enhance the value of local strengths, but the OCOP Program is truly an opportunity for local establishments to exploit potential, upgrade, improve products, and promote production according to the product value chain. With the efforts of the subjects in building OCOP products, it has helped production and business establishments gradually increase the value of local agricultural products. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Phuoc An 1 village, Phuoc Vinh commune shared: Previously, I grew custard apples mainly to sell to traders, so the price was unstable. In early 2023, with the local propaganda, mobilization and guidance and support from professional agencies, I participated in the OCOP Program with fresh Thai custard apple products. To date, Thai custard apple products have been evaluated by the OCOP Product Evaluation Council with 3 stars. This is not only an opportunity for me to improve product quality and expand the consumer market, but also a motivation for my family to develop more products, contributing to enhancing the local product advantages.
