Ninh Son District Farmers' Association: Promoting emulation movements

In 2023, the Farmers' Association at all levels in Ninh Son district implemented the targets and tasks of the association and the Farmers' movement associated with the local political tasks, building new rural areas (NTM) with many positive results.

The focus is on the movement "Good farmers in production and business" which has a positive impact on members participating in socio -economic development. The district Farmers' Association has actively innovated the content and form of propaganda, mobilizing farmers to compete in production and business, promoting the application of science and technology in production associated with product consumption. Established 9 professional associations, mobilizing farmers' members to convert more than 450 hectares of crops; implementing effective production models, such as: Fattening livestock model; growing melons using high technology... At the same time, supporting members to build net houses, greenhouses, membrane houses, drip irrigation systems with a total area of 400 hectares in the district. In 2023, the Ninh Son District Farmers' Association developed 642 new members, through evaluation, 3,215/5,598 households achieved the title of good producers and business, achieving and exceeding the set target. Through the implementation of the movement “Good farmers and businessmen”, the spirit of solidarity has been aroused to help each other develop the economy, develop agriculture, and build new rural areas in the locality. There are 192 good farmers and businessmen helping 38 farmer association members, poor and near-poor households to escape poverty.

Capital support for members continues to be effective and timely. From the Farmers' Support Fund, 51 households have capital to develop livestock farming with a total amount of more than 1.5 billion VND, while creating conditions for 2,958 households to borrow capital to invest in economic development and start-ups. Thereby, promoting many diverse production models, creating motivation for farmers to expand production. In particular, many production models have brought high efficiency, such as: Model of breeding cows; model of planting four-season bamboo of Mr. Nguyen Cao Anh Kiet and Nguyen Tien Dung in Hoa Son commune; model of starting a garden coffee homestay of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa in Lam Son commune... In addition, the associations at all levels have built 12 "Smart Mass Mobilization" models that have widespread influence and brought practical results such as: Model of Professional Association of Breeding Cows in Hoa Son commune; mobilizing people to donate land, build concrete roads to transport agricultural products to Suoi Thi in My Son commune; Mobilizing households along Nguyen Truong To Street, Ward 7, Tan Son Town to participate in building a civilized street "bright, green, clean, beautiful"..., contributing significantly to the construction of the new rural area, creating motivation to successfully implement the socio-economic development goals in the locality.
