The focus is on the "Excellent Farmers in Production and Business" movement, which has positively impacted members' participation in socio-economic development. The Ninh Son District Farmers' Association has actively innovated the content and form of propaganda and mobilization to encourage farmers to compete in production and business, promoting the application of science and technology in production linked to product consumption. Nine professional groups have been established, and members have been encouraged to convert over 450 hectares of crops; effective production models have been implemented, such as: livestock fattening models; high-tech melon cultivation... At the same time, support has been provided to members to build greenhouses, polytunnels, and drip irrigation systems covering a total area of 400 hectares throughout the district. In 2023, the Ninh Son District Farmers' Association recruited 642 new members, and after evaluation, 3,215 out of 5,598 households achieved the title of excellent producers and business owners, exceeding the set target. Through the implementation of the "Excellent Farmers in Production and Business" movement, a spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance has been fostered to develop the economy, agriculture, and build new rural areas in the locality. 192 excellent farming and business households have helped 38 farmer association members, poor and near-poor households to overcome poverty.
Mr. Tran Quoc Hung, residing in Tan Hoa village, Hoa Son commune, has implemented a cattle fattening model that has yielded positive economic results.
The work of providing capital support to members continues to be effective and timely. From the Farmers' Support Fund, 51 households have received capital to develop livestock farming with a total amount of over 1.5 billion VND, while also creating conditions for 2,958 households to borrow capital for economic development and entrepreneurship. This has promoted many diverse production models, creating momentum for farmers to expand production. Among them, many production models have yielded high efficiency, such as: the breeding cow farming model; the four-season bamboo cultivation model of Mr. Nguyen Cao Anh Kiet and Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung in Hoa Son commune; the homestay coffee garden startup model of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa in Lam Son commune... In addition, the associations at all levels have built 12 "Effective People's Mobilization" models with widespread impact and practical results such as: the professional association model for breeding cows in Hoa Son commune; mobilizing people to donate land and build concrete roads for transporting agricultural products to Suoi Thi in My Son commune; Mobilizing households along Nguyen Truong To street, in Ward 7, Tan Son town, to participate in building a civilized street that is "bright, green, clean, and beautiful"... contributes significantly to building new rural areas and creates momentum for successfully achieving socio-economic development goals in the locality.
