In Tam Anh commune, the local road in Hamlet 4 (Duc Bo 2 village) is under construction, but progress is very slow. The project is only partially completed, leaving it unfinished for an extended period, causing difficulties for residents' travel. In particular, the "dusty in the rain, muddy in the sun" condition directly affects the living environment of households along the route.

Ms. Le Thanh Tra (residing in Group 4) shared that investing in the construction of the road is a sound policy aimed at contributing to the development of new rural areas. However, the construction not meeting the schedule is affecting the lives and transportation of the people. “The road is unfinished, and vehicles passing by kick up clouds of dust, making it very difficult for people to travel. We hope the construction unit will complete it soon so that transportation will be more convenient,” Ms. Tra expressed.

According to Tran Van Truong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Anh commune, the project is currently about half completed; the remaining section has been finished with a crushed stone base layer. The commune will conduct on-site inspections and work with the contractor to expedite the completion of the remaining items and organize the asphalt paving, ensuring both progress and safety for the people.

Not only in Tam Anh commune, but a similar situation is also occurring in Thu Bon commune. According to residents of Phu Nhuan 2 village, the approximately 2km long Highway 24 project was scheduled to begin in 2025 but is still not completed.

Ms. Mai Thi Nhu Thuy (residing in Group 16) said that the uneven gravel road surface, coupled with the dust generated by passing vehicles, disrupts daily life and poses a potential accident risk for motorcyclists.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, head of Phu Nhuan 2 village, said that this road is located near a school, with many students passing by every day, so the unfinished construction is very dangerous for students and the elderly.

Regarding the situation on May 6, 2026, the Chairman of the Thu Bon Commune People's Committee, Nguyen Thanh Son, stated that the project was behind schedule due to some obstacles in land clearance and the untimely allocation of funds. The local authorities will coordinate with relevant departments to resolve the difficulties and continue to urge the construction unit to accelerate the progress.

Investing in upgrading transportation infrastructure is an urgent need, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people. However, for projects to be truly effective, the construction process needs to be organized scientifically , ensuring progress and quality, thereby minimizing negative impacts on the environment and people's lives.
