Farmers of Lam Vien ward - Da Lat exchange gifts from pesticide packaging

In just one morning, more than 1 ton of pesticide packaging was brought by farmers to exchange for gifts such as rubber gloves, boots, cloth hats, etc. These practical gifts have motivated farmers to actively collect agricultural waste, instead of dumping it haphazardly, causing environmental pollution.

Deployed from 2022, this program takes place periodically every month at 2 fixed locations: Da Thien 2 Residential Group Hall (second Thursday of the month) and Tan Tien Cooperative (last Thursday of the month).

Exchanging pesticide packaging for gifts is becoming a good and widespread model.

Exchanging pesticide packaging for gifts not only helps effectively handle hazardous waste in agricultural production, but also contributes to forming the habit of "collecting trash in the right place - living green and sustainable" for farmers.

Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat is a key agricultural production area, so maintaining the program has special significance. Each farmer is both a producer and a keeper of a green - clean - beautiful living environment for the community.

With the support of the Ward Farmers' Association, the activity of exchanging pesticide packaging for gifts is becoming a good model, easy to replicate, contributing to environmental protection.
