Mr. Dang Quang Giau - Head of the Tan An Ornamental Flower Cooperative, Sa Dec Ward, said that the members of the Cooperative are preparing to plant about 100,000 pots of raspberry chrysanthemums. Of which, traditional raspberry chrysanthemums have been planted for about a month. For colored raspberry chrysanthemums, with main colors such as red and pink, they will be planted in about a month. For raspberry chrysanthemums serving the Festival, after completing 5 plantings, farmers will continue to take care of them to process the flowers at the right time to help the flower canopy bloom evenly.
Currently, favorable weather helps ornamental flowers grow well. Farmers regularly monitor and spray pesticides to prevent plants from getting waterlogged.
In addition to raspberry chrysanthemums, the Tan An Ornamental Flower Cooperative, Sa Dec Ward will also prepare other types of flowers such as roses, periwinkles, firecrackers, toadstools, pico chrysanthemums... to diversify the types to serve the market.
