(NLĐO) - Right in the heart of Vung Tau City's busiest tourist area, a long-standing slope has suddenly become a sensation on social media.
Recently, a location right in the heart of Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) has suddenly become "hot" on social media, attracting many young people to film and take photos. This is Dragon Slope, located at the intersection of Ha Long, Phan Chu Trinh, and Thuy Van streets.
Dragon Slope is the name locals and tourists often use for this slope. According to locals, it got its name because there used to be two very large and long dragons formed from trees. Later, during urban renovation, Vung Tau City removed these two dragons, which are now replaced with rows of bougainvillea and other flowering trees.
From the top of the slope, you can see the entire Back Beach and Thuy Van Street bustling with tourists.
The slope has become a popular spot for young people to film videos and take photos in recent days.
Dragon Slope is located on the road from Bai Sau to Bai Truoc, near Nghinh Phong Cape. The slope isn't too steep or long, but it has a moderate incline, making the journey enjoyable for tourists. Especially on sunny days, from the top of Dragon Slope, you can admire the panoramic view of Bai Sau with its winding beach.
This isn't a new location; it's situated in one of the province's busiest tourist areas. However, it recently gained popularity on social media due to a trend of filming videos on a slope in Dali (China). The trend involves the subject standing on the steep slope, with the road and traffic in the background creating a magical and enchanting scene.
This slope is attracting visitors who come to take photos and videos.

Unable to travel to China, young people have discovered that Dragon Slope has similar features, even more enchanting, and have flocked there to film romantic scenes. Not only during the day, but the nighttime scenery is even more magical under the lights, so this place is always bustling with visitors.
While guiding his girlfriend in filming, Phan Anh Nhân (a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) said that he had seen many people filming incredibly romantic scenes on this slope, so he and his girlfriend came down here to experience it and create memories. "The scenery outside is already beautiful; from the top of the slope, you can see the sea, the straight road with tall buildings, so there's no need to go anywhere far," Nhân said.
Many young people spilled out onto the streets to film, making it quite dangerous.
However, this road has a very high volume of traffic, especially in the afternoon, so filming and taking photos on this slope is quite dangerous. In particular, many young people standing in the middle of the road to film also obstruct other vehicles in traffic.
Although it's a beautiful spot for filming and photography, visitors should also pay attention to their own safety and avoid violating traffic laws when checking in at this location.
The afternoon is the busiest time for tourists.
Besides Dragon Slope, another location where tourists are participating in this trend is the Martyrs' Monument roundabout in Vung Tau City. This location is relatively quiet and safer as it doesn't affect traffic flow.
