On the morning of April 26, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, at the Cu Chi Tunnels - Ben Duoc Temple Historical Site, Ho Chi Minh City solemnly held the Inauguration Ceremony of the Cultural Space and Statue of President Ho Chi Minh, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

People's Artist Minh Vuong emotionally said: "Amidst the April sunshine and the large flow of people coming from everywhere, the statue of President Ho Chi Minh appears majestic and familiar in the peaceful setting, with shady green trees. I am very moved to participate in the performance with young actors at this meaningful art program."

The cultural space was elaborately built, in harmony with nature, evoking the image of a simple, close but great Uncle Ho, deeply imprinted in the hearts of the nation. The monument is a work of passion, crystallization of the intelligence and feelings of countless artisans, engineers, and workers; expressing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City for the immense contributions of the genius leader, the beloved Father of the Vietnamese people.

In the sacred moment, when the fresh wreaths were offered in front of the monument, many people could not hide their emotions. There were old people who had experienced two resistance wars, children who heard the story of Uncle Ho for the first time, and veterans who stood silently, their hands on their left chests, their eyes filled with tears. These were told by People's Artist Minh Vuong and he also immersed himself in the flow of memories when he sang about beloved Uncle Ho, and lived through many revolutionary stage works.

The artists reviewed the glorious journey when half a century ago, under the brilliant leadership of the Party, our army and people achieved the great victory in the Spring of 1975 - ending the long resistance war for national independence, opening a new era for the country: the era of independence, freedom and unification.

In Cu Chi, the land of "steel and copper" - the place that once suffered from bombs and bullets for the cause of liberating the South - artists respectfully presented a meaningful work to Uncle Ho.

This is not only a symbol of deep gratitude for his great contributions, but also a faithful promise of today's and future generations to forever study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

"Being able to sing in the middle of Ben Duoc Temple, in front of Uncle Ho's statue on this historic day, I feel like I am connected to the resilient blood of the nation. Today's Cai Luong art not only tells old stories, but also fuels patriotism for those who are moving forward" - artist Diem Kieu shared.
