NTO - Phan Rang City People's Council

In the first six months of the year, socio-economic development in the city remained stable. The total value of production across all economic sectors exceeded VND 9,794 billion, reaching 42.63% of the plan, with a growth rate of 10.1%, shifting towards trade and services, industry and construction, and agriculture and fisheries. Efforts to mobilize resources and invest in development were focused; the disbursement rate of investment capital reached 56.3% of the plan. State budget revenue in the first six months exceeded VND 481 billion, of which balanced revenue according to decentralization was over VND 224 billion, reaching 62% of the plan. Urban management, environmental sanitation, investment in urban infrastructure development, and public services were prioritized. Cultural and social fields, social security, poverty reduction, etc., were proactively implemented according to the set plan; national defense, security, and social order were basically maintained.

In the last six months of the year, Phan Rang-Thap Cham City will continue to focus on implementing the resolutions of the Government, the Provincial Party Committee, and the City Party Committee, determined to successfully complete the tasks and development goals for 2024. The central task is to develop the urban economy in a synchronized, correct, and consistent manner with the planning. Strengthening planning and planning management; improving the quality of urban planning to ensure standards for modern urban development; implementing the overall adjustment project of the General Planning for the construction of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City until 2040 and with a vision to 2050. Mobilizing and effectively utilizing resources to boost investment and development; continuing to improve and enhance the quality of urban standards for a type II city, aiming towards a type I city, and gradually building the city into a smart city. Paying attention to the effective implementation of healthcare, education , social welfare policies, and caring for the people's lives; maintaining national defense and security.

The session focused on discussing and adopting nine resolutions in the fields of socio-economic affairs, personnel matters, and the activities of the City People's Committee and City People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
