She got in trouble for dancing vulgarly.
On May 12, Hwasa performed at the Sungkyunkwan University Festival to film scenes for the entertainment program "Dancing Queens on the Road", produced by tvN.
During her solo performance of "Don't Give Me", she performed a choreography that was considered vulgar. A sensitive action of Hwasa's in the choreography was also criticized on social media right after the performance video clips were posted. Netizens believe that these dance moves should not be performed in public, especially in front of students.
The Parents' Human Rights Alliance accused Hwasa of causing discomfort to the audience and embarrassing the public by performing a move that was out of context for the performance.
Due to negative public reactions, when the show "Dancing Queens on the Road" aired on June 22, the production crew cut out Hwasa's allegedly vulgar choreography and replaced it with a moment when two celebrities Lee Hyori and Kim Wan-seon were surprised by Hwasa's performance.
