In the latest match of round 9 of the 2025 National Women's Football Tournament taking place this afternoon (October 9), the Hanoi women's football team did the essential thing: taking all 3 points against the bottom team - HCMC II, to create a dramatic reunion with the reigning cup holders, on the final day.

Entering the match with great determination and a stronger force, but like many other opponents, Hanoi women also encountered difficulties in siege phases, against the crowded defense style of HCMC II.

After a resounding 5-1 victory over TPHCM II, Thanh Nha and the Hanoi women's team are burning with ambition to overthrow the 'queen' of TPHCM I in the 'final' of the tournament taking place on October 13.

In the first 45 minutes, the team from the capital, despite dominating, only managed to score 1 goal, thanks to Nguyen Thi Hoa, after a high ball situation.

However, with the adjustments during halftime by coach Phung Thi Minh Nguyet, Hanoi women played much more effectively, scoring 4 goals.
