1.71m tall female student becomes university beauty queen

(Dan Tri) - In addition to the title of university beauty queen, first-year student Nguyen Thi Truc Vi also won the title of contestant with the most beautiful face.

First-year Sociology student Nguyen Thi Truc Vi was just awarded the beauty queen prize in the final round of the "MISS & MISTER OU" 2025 student beauty contest of Ho Chi Minh City Open University held on the evening of January 12.

The contest to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2025) attracted more than 100 full-time students, distance learning students, online training students, postgraduate students and international students from Laos and Cambodia.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, shared that this is a cultural and artistic playground to orientate students towards the right aestheticeducation about the beauty of modern students with a positive attitude towards life, elegant beauty, intelligence, and compassion.

The male title was awarded to 1.75m tall student Nguyen Quoc Huy, Faculty of Construction.

This male student has held many roles in activities such as former secretary of the Faculty of Construction, former secretary of the Faculty of Construction Association, deputy commander of the Green Summer Team Thu Duc in 2022 with many achievements such as the encouragement prize for scientific research of the Faculty of Construction; third prize in the 2023 volleyball sports festival...

Although he studied construction, Huy has a serious career orientation in the arts with the desire to live fully as an actor.
