Social networks are abuzz with a clip recording the scene of a female student at KTT, a student of My Luong Primary School, Chuong My District, Hanoi, being bullied by a group of friends.
The People's Committee of Chuong My district, Hanoi has reviewed the board of directors of My Luong Primary School.
In the video , this female student was asked by a group of friends to strip, then forced to kneel. Not stopping there, the group of girls continuously asked her to apologize to each person in the group.
In response to public opinion about this clip, a representative of the People's Committee of Chuong My district said that they had asked My Luong Primary School to criticize Mr. Dao Kim Thang, the homeroom teacher. At the same time, the school's board of directors was also reviewed.
A representative of the People's Committee of Chuong My district added that as soon as receiving information about the incident, the People's Committee of the district directed the district Department of Education and Training, the district police, the commune leaders and My Luong Primary School to verify, clarify the cause and resolve the incident.
A representative of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also said that as soon as they received information that a 5th grade female student was beaten by a group of friends, the Department requested the Department of Education and Training of Chuong My district to report and at the same time have a plan to completely resolve the incident.
The Department of Education and Training of Chuong My district also worked with the school and local leaders to have a reconciliation plan, promptly visit and encourage KTT's family.
The People's Committee of Chuong My district also requested the school to coordinate with the district police to verify the person who distributed this video.
My Luong Primary School has asked the four students involved to write a report and consider handling their violations. In it, they will present the incident, admit their mistakes, apologize, and pledge not to repeat the offense.
It is known that in the petition sent to the People's Committee of Chuong My district, KTT's family said that T. was often beaten and bullied by classmates both inside and outside of school. T. reported to the homeroom teacher, however, the homeroom teacher has not yet thoroughly resolved the matter.
On April 29, T. was again bullied by a group of friends (3 female students), who slapped her, forced her to kneel, took off her clothes, and filmed the video and posted it on social media. The family was shocked and heartbroken when they saw the images of their child being bullied.
