Accordingly, Croatian female referee Ivana Martincic, along with assistants Sanja Rodak-Karsic (Croatia), Karolin Kaivoja (Estonia) and table referee Iuliana Demetrescu (Romania) will officiate the final match of the Vietnamese women's team against the defending champions the Netherlands. Previously, the Croatian "king in black" was the fourth referee in the opening match of the Vietnamese women's team against the United States.

Ms. Ivana Martincic is the main referee for the Vietnam - Netherlands women's match.

Referee Ivana was born in 1985 and became a FIFA referee in 2014. The Croatian referee was a referee at EURO 2022. In September 2021, she made history in Croatian football as the first female referee to officiate a match in the First League Football, the highest level of Croatian football.

In Group E before the final match, the Vietnamese women's team was eliminated after losing 0-3 to the US and 0-2 to Portugal. Meanwhile, the Dutch women's team and the US women's team are leading with 4 points, while the Portuguese women's team is behind with 3 points. In addition to having to beat the Vietnamese women's team, the Dutch women's team also aims to score many goals to surpass the US women's team (when comparing the extra goal difference) to take the top spot in the group, thereby most likely avoiding meeting the world's number 3 team, the Swedish women's team, in the next round.

The Netherlands women's team (ranked 9th in the world) are the current World Cup runners-up and are rated much higher than the Vietnam women's team (ranked 32nd in the world). This is expected to be a difficult match for coach Mai Duc Chung's students.
